Peter Mitchell graduated from the Sheridan College Illustration program in 2002, and spent the following decade working primarily as an editorial and book illustrator. His work has been published internationally in periodicals like: The Boston Globe, The LA Times, The Globe and Mail, The Village Voice, Report on Business, Canadian Business, City of Toronto, Guilt and Pleasure, Cottage Life, The Pennsylvania Gazette, Douglas and McIntyre, The Deal, Brown Alumni Magazine, Financial Post Magazine, Annick Press, etc...
In 2011, Peter moved towards a focus in fine art and for 7 years was represented by Ingram Gallery in Toronto's
Yorkville district. His collectors include Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg, and Steven Spielberg's mom.
In 2013, Peter, his wife Sara Sniderhan and their two children, uprooted from Toronto and built a farm from scratch in Mulmur, Ontario. Now self represented, he continues his fine art practice.
